DSTVAGimmo — Official Forum Rules

Welcome to DSTVAGimmo. To maintain a professional, respectful, secure, and useful automotive community, all members are required to follow the rules below.

By using DSTVAGimmo, you agree to comply with these rules.

1. English Language Only. English is the official language of DSTVAGimmo. All public posts, threads, and discussions must be written in English.
2. Introduction Is Mandatory. All new members must introduce themselves in the Introduce Yourself section before participating elsewhere on the forum.
3. Respect Members & Staff. Treat all members, moderators, and administrators with respect. Insults, harassment, flaming, spamming, threats, abusive behavior, or deliberate provocation will not be tolerated.
4. Do Not Hijack Threads. Do not post unrelated questions or problems in another member's thread. If your issue is different from the original topic, create a new thread in the appropriate section.
5. No Adult or Explicit Content. Pornographic, sexually explicit, or otherwise inappropriate adult content is strictly prohibited, including images, videos, text, files, links, and related material.
6. No Illegal Software. Posting, requesting, sharing, or distributing illegal software or other prohibited material is not permitted.
7. Post in the Correct Section. Make sure your thread is posted in the appropriate forum section. Off-topic or incorrectly placed threads may be moved, closed, or removed.
8. External Links. External links must not be posted directly in forum posts. Where permitted, links must be placed inside an attached .txt file.
9. Racism, Hate Speech & Religious Conflicts. Racist, discriminatory, hateful, or inflammatory content is prohibited. Religious discussions intended or likely to create hostility or conflict are also not permitted.
10. Email Addresses as Usernames. Using an email address as your DSTVAGimmo username is not permitted.
11. No Double Posting. Do not submit multiple consecutive replies in the same thread. Use the Edit function to add or correct information in your previous post.
12. Avoid “Thanks Only” Posts. Posts containing only messages such as “Thanks,” “Thanks bro,” “Great,” “Cool,” or similar comments may be removed. Use the forum's Thanks/Reputation system instead.
13. No Malicious Files. Viruses, malware, infected keygens, malicious scripts, intentionally harmful files, or malicious links are strictly prohibited. Members who intentionally distribute harmful content may be permanently banned.
14. AutoData & INSTACODE. Threads and discussions concerning AutoData or INSTACODE are not permitted. Such content may be closed or removed without notice, and repeated violations may result in warnings, restrictions, or suspension.
15. Cooperation With Forum Staff. Members are expected to cooperate with DSTVAGimmo administrators and moderators. If you share password-protected files or links, the required password must be made available to forum staff when requested for moderation or verification.
16. Password Requests. Do not request passwords publicly inside forum threads. Password requests must be made through Private Message (PM). Repeated violations may result in temporary posting restrictions.
17. Selling & Commercial Activity. Selling or advertising tools, software, services, accounts, or other products in general forum sections is prohibited. Commercial activity must be posted in the designated Selling Box section and follow its specific rules.
18. Use Clear & Descriptive Thread Titles. Do not use vague titles such as “Help,” “Please Help,” “Urgent,” or “I Need Help.” Your thread title should clearly describe the subject or problem and, when applicable, include useful details such as the vehicle, ECU/TCU type, software, hardware, or specific issue.
19. Personal & Promotional Information. Phone numbers, email addresses, social-media contact information, and similar personal contact details are not permitted in forum signatures. Links advertising or directing members to competing forums are also prohibited.
20. Do Not Delete Solved Thread Content. Do not remove your original question, files, technical information, or other useful content after your problem has been solved. Replacing your original post with “Solved,” “Fixed,” or similar text is prohibited.
21. Cummins Insite Restrictions. Keygens, unauthorized activations, and calibration keys related to Cummins Insite are not permitted. Prohibited threads or discussions may be removed, and repeated violations may result in a permanent ban.
22. One Account Per Member. Each member is permitted to maintain only one DSTVAGimmo account. Creating or operating multiple accounts is prohibited. If duplicate accounts are discovered, all associated accounts, including the primary account, may be suspended or permanently banned.
23. Member-to-Member Transactions. DSTVAGimmo does not participate in, guarantee, insure, or accept responsibility for transactions conducted between members. Any purchase, sale, exchange, service, payment, or other arrangement is conducted entirely at the participants' own risk.

DSTVAGimmo administrators and moderators reserve the right to edit, move, close, or remove content and take appropriate moderation action when necessary to protect the forum and its community.
