# DSTVAGIMMO.com — Module Update Release Notes

## Major module improvements, automatic ECU recognition, and expanded IMMO adaptation

This release brings broader ECU coverage, faster automatic identification, improved import/export workflows, and a number of reliability fixes across the DSTVAGIMMO platform.

## How IMMO import/export works

The IMMO import/export functions make ECU replacement and IMMO adaptation easier by allowing the relevant IMMO data to be transferred between compatible vehicle modules. Depending on the supported workflow, the data can be exchanged between an ECU, TCU, or IMMO master, then imported into the replacement module that needs to be adapted.

- **Export:** reads the supported IMMO data from the source file and creates an adaptation/export file.
- **Import:** loads the adaptation file into the destination ECU or module and applies the required IMMO data.
- **Import and export modules:** support a complete two-step transfer workflow for supported ECU, TCU, and IMMO-master combinations.
- **Export-only modules:** BCM2, Passat CCM, and Audi EZS provide an export file that can be imported into the target ECU, TCU, or ELV module where the adaptation is completed.

Always use files from the same vehicle or an explicitly compatible replacement workflow, verify the detected module type, and keep an untouched backup of every original file before importing or writing adapted data.

### MEDC17
The vehicle appears to have been completely flagged/locked by the watchdog system. A JLR technician from Coscharis Nigeria advised that the vehicle may have been factory-flagged, but I would like to confirm this with experienced JLR technicians before proceeding further.

Free VAG PDC EEPROM Repair Tool
Hi everyone,
I’m excited to share a tool I’ve developed that repairs EEPROM data in VAG PDC (Parking Distance Control) modules. If you’re dealing with error 16347 (Control Module Faulty - EEPROM error), this tool can help you fix it quickly and easily.
Key Features:
Simple to Use: Repair EEPROM errors with just a few clicks—no more complicated manual solutions.
Supported File Sizes: Compatible with EEPROM files of 2KB and 4KB.
Plug and Play: After repairing the dump, there’s no need for recoding. Just plug it back in, and it’s ready to go.
Includes Documentation: The tool provides BDM pinout and other useful information.
Optimized for Valeo Units: Works especially well with Valeo units, which are often prone to EEPROM corruption.
